Instructor & Organisation Profiles
Master Fitzsimons
Chief InstructorI have been practicing ITF Taekwon-Do for over thirty seven years and I can truly say that attending my first class was the best thing I ever did. The
benefits of the training over the years have kept me fit, flexible and motivated in all aspect of
life. ITF Taekwon-Do is in my opinion a complete martial art and practical self-defence that has many additional benefits.
I started teaching classes in 2005 in the United Kingdom, where I built a successful school, guiding many students to their Black Belts and
beyond. I also coached many students to competitive success on the local and national
competition circuit. In addition I have also trained and mentored Black Belt students to open and run their own schools.
I was a member of the England Taekwon-Do Association, where I held positions on the organisations technical committee and Black Belt
Grading Panel. In addition I was also part of the coaching team who conducted training seminars and Instructor courses during the year.
I now teach here in Sydney and have had the pleasure to introduce many more students to the wonderful art of ITF Taekwon-Do and look forward to introducing more in the future.
Parallax TKD
Taekwon-Do SchoolParallax Taekwon-Do opened its doors on the 12th of March 2019 under the Instruction of Mr Marc Fitzsimons. Since our first
class we have slowly built a community of children and adults who attend classes on a weekly basis. As the Instructor of Parallax
Taekwon-Do, I have been pleased to see a new generation of students gain and enjoy the benefits of ITF Taekwon-Do.
For myself, I have been involved in martial arts for most of my life, studying Judo from an early age and then discovering ITF Taekwon-Do at sixteen.
I have been training in and teaching Taekwon-Do for over 37 years, achieving the rank of VII Degree Master. I have had a successful
martial arts career and have also achieved qualifications as an International Instructor and grading examiner.
I previously operated a school in the United Kingdom for over 13 years, guiding many students through to competitive success and several to Black Belt Degree
levels. I am a dedicated Instructor, and understand that everyone has different goals and reasons for starting
to study a martial art.
I strive to help and guide every student that I teach to achieve their full potential. I cannot emphasize how
much of a positive impact studying ITF Taekwon-Do has had upon my life.
