PARALLAX TAEKWON-DO
CONDITIONS OF ENTRY &
COVID-19 SAFETY POLICY

This Policy Shall be in effect from the 1st of November 2021.

Members are advised that they must not attend our classes, if they have a cough, cold, temperature or are displaying any other symptoms or have been in contact within the last 14 days with someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19.

The wearing of face masks while attending our training venue is mandatory for all adults. The wearing of face masks for under 12's is optional and is not required for junior or adult class participants while exercising.

Before entry to the training hall, all parents, dependants, adult participants, staff, volunteers, visitors and contractors must sign-in via the displayed QR code using the Service NSW app or use the online concierge sign in form. CHECK-IN MUST BE CONFIRMED

Everyone who enters the venue aged 16 years old and over MUST be fully vaccinated and be able to show proof of their vaccination status or a valid proof of exemption. If you are 16 years old or above and are not fully vaccinated, unfortunately you will not be able to enter the training hall or participate in the classes.

Upon entry to the venue you must use the provided hand sanitiser. We provide alcohol-based hand santiser dispensers in prominent places at the venue, including the main entrance, changing rooms, toilets and for general use. We also encourage members to carry their own personal dispenser.

Everyone should cover their mouth and nose with a tissue or their sleeve (not their hands) when they cough or sneeze.

The number of class participants, parents and visitors are counted into the hall and will not exceed 20. The maximum numbers are monitored, maintained and controlled during class transitions. Everyone must observe the social distancing rules that have been communicated and are displayed at the venue.

Floor markers help ensure students maintain the correct social distancing, while they are performing exercise and training drills. There will be no contact exercises performed in the class i.e sparring. During break times, each student has their own designated space to rest and re-hydrate.

The number of students allowed to use the changing facilities at one time is two. This is to ensure that the numbers safely sit within the one person per four square metre rule. Our members are encouraged to change at home where possible.

Parents of junior students are encouraged to wait outside the hall and maintain social distancing or to wait in their vehicles and come to the hall once the class has finished. The children will then leave the hall in a staggered manner to proceed home with their parents. In the case of adults, once they have finished they leave the hall again in a staggered pattern.

Any equipment that is used during a class is cleaned as recommended with disinfectant wipes. This procedure is done before and after use. The sharing of equipment is not allowed between students. All surfaces are cleaned down after use with disinfectant wipes. The venue also instigates a thorough cleaning regime and process.
